This Privacy Policy explains how GLOBAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PARIS, the data controller of the MyBusHub platform, collects, uses and protects your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable national law.
1. Data we collect
When you submit a transport request or partner application, we collect: full name, email, phone, company, city, trip details (origin, destination, dates, number of passengers), and optional notes. We also collect technical data (IP address, device type, cookie identifiers) through your visit to the site.
2. Purposes of processing
We use your data to: (a) process your request and match it with partners, (b) contact you for quotes, bookings and support, (c) issue invoices and comply with legal obligations, (d) improve the platform and prevent fraud.
3. Legal basis
We process your data based on: contract performance (art. 6.1.b GDPR), legal obligation (art. 6.1.c — e.g. accounting records), legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f — service improvement, fraud prevention), and your consent where required (e.g. marketing).
4. Recipients
Your data is shared with: vetted partner carriers (only what's necessary for the quote), infrastructure providers (Cloudflare — hosting, Supabase — EU database), payment providers, and competent authorities when required by law.
5. International transfers
Your data is stored primarily within the European Union. When non-EU providers are used, the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or other safeguards under article 46 GDPR apply.
6. Retention period
We retain request data for 3 years after the last communication. Accounting records are kept for 10 years as required by law. Marketing data is deleted upon withdrawal of consent.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, port and object to the processing of your personal data. You may withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or your local supervisory authority within the EU/EEA.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for platform operation and optional analytics cookies for improvement. You can manage your preferences from your browser settings.
9. Security
We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data (TLS encryption, access controls, database-level RLS). In case of a breach we notify the competent authorities within 72 hours.
